one of my debts was with northern rock. As I posted earlier my trust deed of 4 years is almost over.

Could one of the experts tell me why the debt would be sold on to other companies and do I have to inform my firm. It has been sold by Marlin Europe to PCO Holdco S.a.r.l and will be administered by IVA Watch t/a Portfolio Management.

The letter does say info only.

Just wondered why these debts are sold on and also if there is a reason so close to my end date. (which should be may)

Though I have equity to pay after.

Thanks in advance

two of my debts were sold on.. Makes no difference. Sometimes debt companies buy the debts in bulk and yours might have been one of them. I am sure it is still up to Northern Rock to rectify your credit file as satisfied once discharged if the new companies don`t but it should not make any difference to your TD what so ever. Actually one of the debt companies that bought one of my debts was very pleasant to deal with. They couldn`t have been more helpful and updated my Credit report over the phone within a month.

Hi ann910.

A good answer from kdog7.

There's no reason to concern yourself with this. It's very common.
