Hi
I had a creditfax trust deed taken out 29.05.2013. After making all my payments on time and taking over a year for them to do their PPI check I was discharged from my trust deed (trustee discharge date 17.07.2017 and debtor discharge date 27.06.2017). After watching Martin Lewis the other week he mentioned claiming PPI under Plevin if you had had an unsuccessful claim and didn’t know about the banks commission. I did this and received a letter today stating I had been successful in my claim but having reviewed my financial affairs they are sending the money to my trust deed. Is this correct if I am discharged?

Hi Linda,

The most likely outcome here seems to be either:

1 - Your ex trustee forwards the funds to you

2 - Your ex trustee tells the bank they can forward the funds to you

Thank you. Yes after telephoning them this morning they are forwarding me the funds. I was panicking they would reopen my trust deed as I’m looking to get a mortgage soon and thought it would go against me. Thanks again for your reply
