I'm really pleased for your sister - best time of year for an unexpected windfall!

I just had a fairly fruitful conversation with RBS, in which they told me they had made an offer, so I just need to wait for the letter, as it wasn't loaded on their system.

After I send back the acceptance, the monies go to their credit management services team for distribution to the money still owed after my trust deed - anything left over comes to me.

By my very rudimentary calculations, if they've made an offer of full redress including the 8% interest, there should definitely be some left over. It would be so nicely time as I'm on half pay on maternity leave, and nearly Christmas, with two lovely daughters who I'd love to make an amazing Christmas for.

Fingers crossed, and a postman to stalk....

Thanks Fizzy, I got an offer of £2216, which I think I will clear about £750 from, once debts are offset, so not to be sniffed at!
