Hi Turbobhoy,
I saw your message a couple of hours ago but this has been my first chance to respond.
This is great news for you and, hopefully, many other people in a similar position. Thanks for letting us know.
I'd kind of assumed that many other people would have responded to this post by now... maybe they're in a state of shock?!
Only shock here is Mond hasn’t tried to create a new rule where he can somehow still withhold monies from people. He had nowhere else to go but clung on rather pathetically.
Great news Turbobhoy.
Great news turbo, glad it’s all over for u, I’m still waiting for mine from Mond, did u have to chase it up from anyone in particular or did a cheque just popped through your letterbox? Again congrats that u can finally put it all behind u now....
hi, great news turbo, i'm still waiting for mine. Did he take an admin fee or anything??
Defo looks like Mond has thrown in the towel,2 minute phone call to his company and informed money will be in my bank in the next couple of days, no fees involved. I’m just glad it’s over and can now move on with my life, good luck to everyone and thanks to all who have contributed to this discussion, everyone has a different view, but unlike brexit we can agree to disagree without the bitterness. Again good luck everyone.

[br]Yes the Supreme Court ruled that when a final distribution was made then the trustee has discharged themselves. I think a few are still having an issue with Mond due to him seeking further legal counsel however, the Supreme Court was his last hope and he lost.
RBS still refusing to pay me PPI even through I owe them nothing I have appealed this and was told they are waiting on the outcome of the MOND case . I have explained several tome through email & telephone calls I owe them nothing but they owe me PPI . They have made the decision to lump all case together . I wait the outcome of my appeal .
That's a different topic really lindalo56. The RBS and the Mond situations are different. We're trying to keep the topics in separate threads to avoid confusing people. This is no criticism at all of you and we appreciate your participation on the forum.
Here's a recent thread about RBS and PPI that you may wish to add to:
I have received a letter from RBS basicaly that my ppi monies are being off set under scots law principal of balancing accounts and i can complain to the ombusman. Been chasing RBS for over 3 years. Any advice would be helpful

Hi Gazza.
I'm going to suggest you bring this up on a different thread.
No criticism of you, it's just that this RBS situation is very different to the Mond situation.
Trying to avoid making something complex even more complex for new visitors to the site.
Is there a forum for this topic

This thread was specifically set up for the RBS/PPI topic:
