I have been out of my trust deed for 13 months, now a couple of months ago the bank of Scotland sent me a form about claiming for PPI, so I filled it in as you do and a long story short I have been awarded some cash... the thing is even tho I'm im not in the trust deed anymore the bank have sent it to the trust deed company I was dealing with.

Does anyone know what happens now?

Hi johnd76.

If your trustee hasn't been discharged they'll retain it to pay more to your creditors.

If they have been discharged I'd imagine they'll forward the funds to you.

You can check their status on the Register of Insolvencies (AIB website).

Your assets vested in your trustee when you signed your trust deed johnd76. That included the potential to reclaim PPI.

They might have discharged you while they finished off that work. Better than holding you up while they do it.

I went onto the website and there was no discharge date, I take it I have lost out on that then [:(]

If your trustee hasn't been discharged I'd expect these funds to go to your creditors I'm afraid.
