All these PPI claims has got me wondering......I'm sure there is PPI cover on our mortgage for my husband, I think at the time we took it out he wouldn't be paid for being off sick but now he does, ironically I'm not paid if I'm off sick now. I will contact our mortgage company and ask what the actual cover is for there may not be a claim for mis-sold PPI cover here, I'll be honest i'm not entirely sure what the cover provides anyway, but even if there is no claim, I think we may be paying for something that we no longer need........the AIB register still hasn't been updated with my discharge although my Trustees sent me a letter dated last week confirming their discharge and that they'd submitted the paperwork to the AIB, I'm aiming for the 30th April whic will be exactly 5 years after a 3 year TD......

Hi WIKIKEE.

For some people PPI can be a very valuable product, though as you identify as circumstances change so will needs and preferences.

I would enquire about exactly what you're paying for and then consider if a change makes sense.
