Hi I got email today they have now told trust deed. But they have not said how much or what the payments have been. They are waiting to see if it can be included in my trust deed. I do not think it can.

Thanks

Hi emma99.

If the debt was accrued after the trust deed was signed it isn't going to be included.

This gets confused often. Bankruptcy would mean that you cannot take on credit. An IVA elsewhere in the UK would normally at least limit your use of new credit. A protected trust deed doesn't.

It's still generally a bad idea though (as we read so often here).

I'd imagine the card issuer cancelled it in this instance because they would not have offered you credit if they'd been aware of the trust deed.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

I was expecting them to say that was the reason and would have accepted that but they said it wasn't allowed which is what I queried. Didn't actually need the card though, was just using it as a credit builder. It's technically still open so it's still working in my favour!

Hi even though they have not told trust deed how much or what has been getting paid to it. They say that on the 19th of march they are going to give them this information.

Thanks

It sounds as though they want to double-check that this debt shouldn't be a part of your trust deed emma99.

In some ways I can understand why they'd want to do that.
