I am interested if I will be able to change my mortgage now that my PTD is discharged- the Trust deed info will be held on my Credit file for another 18months

Welcome to the forum CMarshall.
It's likely to be pretty difficult, but those difficulties may subside given time.
It also depends greatly upon your personal circumstances, with your previous trust deed being just one of many important factors.
