Drum roll....... Trust Deed got protected today! I'm very pleased, of course. But I would say communication is so important. It took my five days to get someone in KPMG to speak about the nature of the objections. The same person phoned me back today to give me the the good news.
The lesson to be learned? I'm not sure perhaps, that it can take a few days after the 5 weeks to iron everything out. And to trust in the process and that it will happen.
... anyway very pleased - and thank you everyone for your encouragement during the last few days! ๐
That's fantastic DontDoDebt. Congratulations to you.
We really do very rarely hear here of trust deeds failing to become protected, but there are occasions where trust deed firms need to do a little work do deal with objections that can be easily satisfied, or removed thanks to some explanation.
Glad to hear that your firm got this done for you.
Congratulations DontDoDebt,
Glad everything has been sorted out for and you now have your protected status.
