Hi
Just a query but how many have never heard from their TD advisor? I have had no other contact since the paperwork stating I was protected.
Just wondering if this was normal
It was set up 30th May and went protected 11th July ๐
Hi newsm.
It will be interesting to hear from any other members/readers whether they have heard much from their contacts.
As you're only a few months in it may just be a case of "no news is good news" if everything is running along fine and as expected.
I posted last week about the fact that I hadn't heard anything regarding the protection of my TD, and when I spoke to my advisor, I was told that they would only make contact with me if there was a problem, and so "no news was good news". The only time I am expecting them to contact me now is when review time comes around. I think reason that we worry about not hearing from them is because persoanlly a TD is a big issue, for the TD companies on the otherhand, this is all normal.

It might also be worth mentioning that when ever I have made contact with my TD company, they have always been helpful. So if you are concerned about anything, perhaps a quick call or email would benefit.

I had lots of contact initially as i was getting lots of calls from creditors. After those few initial months i hear nothing until a few days ago when i got a form for a yearly evaluation of my outgoings to be mailed back. So I phoned my TD advisor to find out where to send it. So i don't know whats normal. I'd be curious how others have faired. ๐
I've had virtually no direct contact with my Trustee since signing my Trust Deed in May 2010, one solitary Email confirming that my deed was protected.....
To be totally honest in my case there has been really no need to actually contact my Trustee since singing, I return my completed reviews went sent out to me and any problems I've had has been dealt with their more than able assistant in the office.......
I actually got a missed call from the Trust Deed Office recently and I actually panicked as I thought there must be a problem if they were trying to contact me, turned out they had called my number in error....
No news is good news...
As far as I remember, I didn't have any contact from my trustee other than to tell me when my house was being valued. Any other discussions have been instigated by me. I called them to find out if mine had been protected. The only gripe I had was that I'd got another survey done to contest their valuation, it'd got lost in the post but they never contacted me, even though they knew it was being sent. They must be happy with everything so far or they'd be in touch.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
