My trust started in 2010 and ended in 2014, i have since sold my property and moved to someone else's property, does my trust deed show up on any of their credit files or will flagged up if they perform any requests for credit or will they see it it anywhere at all even?

Welcome to the forum Hamlets Girl.

Your trust deed can only appear on your credit file.

If you share an address with someone and have joint financial arrangements (like a joint bank account) your credit records might become linked.

If the other person applied for credit they (the lender) might see that you've had credit issues in the past. This might (or might not) affect their willingness to lend to them. It doesn't affect their credit score though.

Apart from that, there's nothing to worry about.

Thank you very much for your reply, so can I just double check then if I share an address with someone but have NO financial connection with them nor have any joint accounts etc then they will not be affected either if they apply for credit in any form?

Hi again,

Without a financial connection there's no reason why a co-resident would find their ability to obtain credit affected by your trust deed.
