I have been discharged since March 2008, I'm now in a position to buy another house, I have 25% deposit bit I'm struggling to find a mortgage provider at the trust deed is still on my credir file. Can anyone help?

Hi Desperate in Wilts and welcome.
When did your start your trust deed? It should not appear on your credit record after six years.
Have you met with a mortgage broker or have you been approaching lenders directly?

I have approached a broker who is struggling to find one who will help, I have read on here that I should try a broker who specialises in people with poor credit - or am I just wasting my time. Everything should come off between Aug - Oct 2012.
I have a another house up North that is rented out and the rent covers the mortgage. Can't sell as my mum lives in it, although I don't think this is a huge issue.
When I was discharged (same month), I had 2 late payments on my mortgage as my car needed work to pass an MOT (no car, no work!!. That was early 2008, I cleared those payments and have never missed any payments, my credit file is all up to date and green.
