thanks, i'll send them a link to that and see if they have anything more to say but at the moment all they keep saying is we agreed to £5k at the outset. Which to be fair is to them is correct, we did agree to that 3.5yrs ago.

They have now came back and said he can carry on making payment for another 17mths (so trust deed would end Sept 2014 as originally agreed). Monthly payments will be £235.88 so they would recoup £4009 instead of £5588. I am really glad they have decided we can carry on with it, a bit bamboozled though as the income and exp states £201 a month left but anyway.

Hi trustdeed1.

It's good to hear that some flexibility has been applied and that the terms have been moved a little in your favour.

It would seem that your creditors will be well served by this outcome as well.

Do you think that you'll be able to manage the proposed monthly payment?

I think we will just have to buckle down and do our best really, it's best for us too to get it all over and done with and if it means it's finished in 17mths rather than a possible 3yrs of payments and the stress that brings then that's what we have to do really. Thanks for all the great advice, it's really helped me stick to my guns and get something done about it rather than bury our heads in the sand hoping it will go away.
