Hi
I had a joint loan with NatWest that was included in my TD which I completed in June. I received my Form 5 soon after. Despite writing to the NatWest Credit Controller & including a copy of the Form 5 2 months ago NatWest have still not updated the account so it is still showing as defaulted. Is this because it is a joint loan? Is there anything else I can do to get them to update the file?
Many thanks,
Domino99

Hi Domino99.

Any default notice on your credit file should be marked as satisfied after your discharge.

Having made a reasonable attempt to request that they do this already, my advice would be to make a formal complaint. This will usually sort things out pretty quickly.

Thanks TDA, that's what I'll do.
