Hi.

I'm fresh out of my TD, a little over 2 months and hoping to get a mortgage. I have saved/been gifted (!) £30K for a deposit and hoping that this will help! I know it is going to be extremely difficult but can anyone recommend a trusted 'independant' broker that has helped them secure a mortgage or list some non high street reliable mortgage lenders?

Any input would be greatly appreciated

S

Welcome to the forum shonz11 and congratulations on completing your trust deed.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but hopefully another member that has received a good mortgage broking service will be able to share some information with you.

I would focus on the broker route - approaching this lender by lender will likely result in a lot of fruitless effort for you.

I would echo TDA's suggestion of going to a broker. They will know the lenders most likely to accept your circumstances and will also be able to access deals not available to the general public.
