Hello again.

Just when I thought everything was clear...I have the opportunity to apply for registration as a paralegal. I have worked hard for this. One of the questions on the form is a declaration as to whether you have any criminal records or sequestration/bankruptcy. Could one of the experts advise what I should say? Is TD completely different? Any advice greatly appreciated. I'm getting panics all over again! My employers do not know about my TD.(By the way, I have no criminal record either!!)

Thanks.

Hello herewego.

It's a good question. Bankruptcy/Sequestration and Protected Trust Deeds are both forms of "insolvency".

However you aren't being asked whether you have ever been "insolvent", so I think you can answer "no" with a clear conscience.
