My last payment of my trust deed is at the beginning of this December.(hopefully) as there are some issues need to be sorted out, after the transfer from pjg to creditfix. Its never straight forward!!

Anyway After my last payment, am I then able to do what I like with my account. As my mum wants to pay some money into it for a holiday. So it could be a sizeable amount of money. Or will this money be questioned, and I am best leaving my account as normal till my discharge? Please advise ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi sjm750.

Prior to your discharge I'd get prior clearance from your trustee for a large sum of money to come into your account.

Keeps things in the open and I doubt there would be a problem with it.

Hi again.

Until you're discharged your trustee might have an interest if you came into money.

My suggestion would be to avoid putting the money into your account completely if you can.
Sometimes the best option is to be risk averse.

We've had lots of occasions where this question or a similar one has been asked.

I can't remember anyone coming back and saying their trustee had objected. Usually just a case of getting things out in the open to avoid scope for confusion later.
