Hi folks
Just to say i applied successfully for a mobile phone contract (with orange) this week, four months after discharge from a TD....the opportunities are there to rebuild your credit...

Good news tinsoldier, and thank you for sharing the information.
As you say, it's going to take some time and work, but there are things that can be done after a trust deed which will help to re-establish a credit rating over time.

Hi Tinsoldier,
Thats good to know, I am still in trust deed, so i was sucessful in getting a sim only with orange, not tied in to anything I pay £10 per month, i am not a heavy phone user so the is enough for me, so that is another option for people with a poor credit rating.

How long did it take after your last payment for your discharge? Do u own a vehicle?
