Hi, would like some advise.
I've singed to trustdeed in 2016 and reacently noticed that there is an extra £2000 sum added which I did not take.
Initially when I signed up it was £6759 including that £2000 strange sum.
I have been so stressed back then not even noticed it.
But my worry now is that if I tell them about it they might terminate my trustdeed as its not gonna be £5000 in debt.
Is that possible ? Should I just get along with it and keep paying it?
Thanks a lot.

Welcome to the forum vasara.

So it's a completely unfamiliar debt?

It couldn't be a debt that has changed hands so that the creditor name has changed?

Did you report your debts as being less than £5,000 in total when you first looked for advice?

It looks like one of my creditors was in twice under the same amounts of money,. as it’s two exactly the same amounts of £2000 under Bank of Scotland, but different account numbers which I know for the fact I only had one credit card.
I’ll try get in touch with the bank tomorrow, but accounts are not functioning not sure if they will be able to see my debt.

That is unusual and certainly a trust deed can only be signed where the debt level is over £5k.

A trustee is required to verify debt level prior to signing the deed.

I would give them a call to ascertain the position.

The trust deed has been signed and it now legally binding however there is the argument that the trustee should not have signed the deed in the first place. Any criticism would be directed with the firm and not the individual that has entered the process.
