Hi Ros.

A new trustee does have an obligation to ensure that the work which was done previously would stand up to scrutiny. If this is there position now it does sound as though something might not have been quite right at the start.

Do you believe that the valuation your trustee is now using is inaccurate?

I don't believe it is - but they are willing to get a second opinion - I do believe though that RSM Tenon unsatisfactory dealings with our case may result in us losing our home. It's really absolutely unacceptable to be put under this strain. This will ge getting taken further if we do not get a satisfactory outcome - APEX have asked that we don't take it further at the moment - to see if we can negotiate to where all parties are satisfied.

Well that would certainly be a good outcome in the circumstances I guess.

Can you raise the money that you expected to pay at the start of the trust deed?

Will you source a professional valuation to challenge the one that you believe is incorrect?

What is a good outcome????

Yes we can raise the money from a third party who
Will remortgage their home

And if necessary we will get an Independent valuation, but will this be acceptable , as they seem to be picky with whose valuation they wish to accept

I just meant negotiating an agreement that's acceptable to all parties Ros.

A professional valuation that differs from that which your trustee already has might help you to negotiate.

But it isn't goneunder.

It's a very rare and unusual case of a new trustee apparently having a very serious concern about the work done on a case before it came to them.
