Welcome to the forum jbryce.

Trustees are doing their job recovering PPI for the creditors of people in trust deeds. It's part of what people voluntarily ask them to do when they sign a trust deed.

If you look online on the Register of Insolvencies you may be able to find details about your case. If you registered for this site using your correct name and town, I think you'll find that your trustee was discharged towards the end of last year.

Hi jbryce.

When you mention that your bank still have you down as still active on deed, are you saying that this status is holding you back somehow?

have contacted the bank who have said that they will check and update this. Its more of am looking to bring an end to it than being held back been long time .looked up register and trustee is discharged does this mean they no longer have claim to anything .

With the exception of PPI, it's been over for you since March 2012 by the looks of it.

It's not entirely clear as yet whether they'd still have any claim to a new PPI claim dating back to old misselling if it came to light now.
