Hi All Been a wee while since I posted last, been discharged from PTD since Feb 2013 Trustee discharged April 30th 2013.
Checked my Experian credit report and wrote to all creditors enclosing my form 5. Got letters from them all confirming they had received notification from my Trustee and my credit file would be updated but it could take up to 8 weeks to show. Max recovery (eversheds) letter dated 16th May 201 confirms same.

I have struggled to get credit and tried to get the ยฃ300 free overdraft which is included in my bank account but advised by BoS that because my credit report was so poor I could not get it. They suggest I check credit report to see whats dragging score down.

It would appear Max recovery did not update status and their account is still showing Default. Experian on the case apology from Max recovery who are doing and investigation as they had not acted on the information given, on time.

Also I did not realise I was not on the electrol roll in the credit as I had put in a typo on my new address.

Thanks to Experian address on electrol roll and credit score gone from fair to excellent in 48hrs.

Keep checking you credit report.

George

Thanks for sharing that buddyup.

It doesn't seem to pay to assume anything when trying to improve your creditworthiness after a trust deed.
