Hi I'm really worried I've been in my td for
7 months and recently found out I'm pregnant
I'm paying 420-640 depending on if I get a bonus do
You think I would be able to reduce these payments if
I go off on mat leave the most I would take is 6 months
Max or do you think I would need to go backrupt I don't
Have any assets! ([8)]

Hello bailey,

Congratulations to you.

In the circumstances I would hope that your Trust Deed company will be prepared to reduce the monthly payment for a while. They will have worked with many clients in the past who have experienced a temporary reduction in earnings.

This may result in the Trust Deed being extended (to make up for the reduced payments) but I think this may be well worthwhile given the circumstances.

As you have no significant assets I suppose that there may not be too much to fear from bankruptcy anyway.

It will be best to contact your Trust Deed company and talk it all through with them. Please let us know how you get on.
