Hi,

I have now been in my TD for about 16 months.
I have learned that my parents have started getting missed calls from a company, whos business in 'Loss Adjusters'. (they know nothing about my TD....and their phone number might have originally been on record with some credit card companies)
They are as financially clean as can be, so its unlikely anybody would be on their case.

Is it possible that this company are trying to track me down?
Is this normal?

Hi amorphous and Happy New Year

Loss adusters are usually instructed by insurance companies to investigate damage to property so i dont see why they would be trying trace you?

Why not speak to the company it may just be a coincidence, i doubt they would be tracing you regarding the debts

Thanks for the reassurance!

I didn't want to question my parents too much about it, lets just say that my financial history is a very sore subject in the family....and they don't know the half of it.

They had googled the company, and all I really know is that their stated business is 'Loss Adjusters'.
I suspected a wrong number or yet another one of the PPI companies trying to drum up business, but I always fear the worst when any financial company is in contact.

You can always give them a call and ask them to remove the number from their data base, like you say it may be PPI reclaiming or something alike.

But if they are looking for you they will not discuss anything with your parents due to data protection, so try not to worry
