Hello

I am looking to change jobs as my work can no longer accomodate the hours I need to work around my sons school and in the mean time there may be a month when I am unemployed. Can I get trust deed payment holiday for a month until I sort out my new employement.

Thanks

Hi again.

This would always be something to discuss directly with your trustee.

In reality, if you have no earned income then no contribution will be possible.

In many cases this would result in a missed payment being added on at the end of your trust deed.

Hi,

In situations like this the key thing is communication with your Trustee.

It’s quite common that someone changes jobs and there is a break in income. As long as you speak with your Trustee and notify them then the missed payment should just be added to the end of the Trust Deed.
