Afternoon all

i am unable to enter a trust deed and have looked at the LILA option.

Just wondering what assets are taken into account for this? as they cant be over £10000 in total or £1000 indivdually.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Primarily you are looking at property, vehicles and policies/shares etc.

The vast majority of household assets are excluded.

There is a good guide prepared by the AiB:

Hello GarethB and welcome.

Voice of Reason has provided some good information for you.

Are there any particular assets of belongings about which you are concerned?

Hello Voice of Reason.

Thanks for taking the time the help GarethB.

We do ask people not to post external links in the forum, even really helpful ones like the one that you've added!

The main reason is that we have no control over external sites and these links tend to become "broken" over time as the site owners move or delete material. That can be annoying for visitors to this forum in the future.
