I'm finding it increasingly harder to speak to someone from this place and I need to quite urgently because as far as I'm aware my last payment is 3/1/13. I don't want to go and just cancel my standing order incase its the wrong thing to do.
Does anyone else have bother getting in touch with them? I've emailed, left messages you name it! I'm at my wits end with them!
I want this to be over [V]

Hi slayervixen i had the exact same problems and it was exactly this time last year i was in your position. I phoned and tried to find out if i should cancel the DD and they told me yes i tried my best to speak to the right people but it wasnt until feburary after i had cancelled my direct debit after numerous attempts to confirm this that i had corrospondence from them saying i had cancelled my DD but i still owed contributions. This was news to me but i fulfilled the amounts and am just now in the process of being discharged. I have some numbers of senior staff at the company if that would be helpful ( after complaints that i made through the ombudsman) but i agree that you should write to the trustee, include all your complaints and send the letter recorded deliery for extra insurance. if you would like those numbers i can send you my email address.

Hi Slayer
There is an email address I use trustdeedsassets@kpmg.co.uk - I don't know if that would be any use to you? It is annoying that they only operate 9-5 Mon-Fri - I work all week and I'm not comfortable speaking to them on the office phone so I tend to do things by email.
There's only one person I choose to speak to at KPMG - Michael Gray. He seems to be the only one who knows what he's doing.

It's really frustrating to be honest. They appear to be so helpful when the Trust Deed process is just beginning but now that the end is nigh then don't want to know.
I just feel like I'm just a statistic or a number. I want to confirm all this so I can try and get on with my life.

If you can, go back to your bank and request how many payments you have made before cancelling DD, these people have the power to freeze your account if not paidfully

When I check the standing order the last one is down as 1/1/13 which would be my 36 months done and dusted. I'm just so scared that the agony may be prolonged.

It is almost impossible to speak to anyone on the phone there, they rarely reply to emails and usuall take at least 6 weeks to reply to letters[V]
I have always managed to speak to someone when I call them but invariably it's not the person I need to talk with. Promises are made about passing on messages or recording the details of the call but 2 years in and I can say with confidence that has never happened. I still have 18 months to go and can only hope that nothing major changes in my life in that period that requires me to deal with KPMG in any way other than sending in payslips and bank statements come review time.
Glad that's over with....
Finally managed to speak to a girl who was lovely and actually very helpful. I am allowed to cancel my standing order effective of 2/1/13 but the discharge could be delayed due to PPI (which I knew would happen). She said the discharge could take about 6-8 weeks (I'll believe it when I see it mind you).
I'm more excited for 2/1/13 than I am Christmas tbh. Whilst nothing is set in stone I'm just looking forward to getting a fresh start. It's been a long 36 months!

It's next Christmas you can look forward to as you'll have some money to spend!
Glad that's over with....
Within the last hour I've also recieved an indepth email confirming what the girl on the phone told me. Let's hope this bodes well for how quickly my discharge goes through!

6 to 8 weeks dont be fooled it took me 6 months and that was with no ppi,and a lot of hard graft on the phone I may add. You are only a number to this company. Once they have your money they could not give a hoot about winding up your trust deed.
Thats only my opinion hope its different for you. All the best.
I speak to Lesley or Jordon on 01413005779. On all my new letter they have sent me that number is on it and it is always the same guys. I phoned on Monday morning left a message first thing in the morning and got a call back from him 45 min later. I am told if you leave a voicemail you will get a call back within 24hours? Next time I phone I only want to talk to them as its less hassle than talking to someone that doesn't know what they are doing and puts me on hold or says they will get someone to call back. At least they actually call you back and let you know what they are going to do, which puts me at ease and I don't call back another 5 times. Now I know the names I always ask for them!
PPI interview at newyear finger crossed I get discharged after it.
