Knightsbridge don't do the Form 5 straight away, they wait until the full closure process is done then do all paperwork at the same time. I was continually lied to by Knightsbridge about the status of the closure process so I finally snapped and raised a formal complaint advising them if they didn't send my Form 5 within a week, I'd be raising a formal complain to the financial ombudsman etc. Sure enough, a week later I received a phone call to say it was in the post.

My take on Knightsbridge is they don't care as long as they get your money. I would ask for definite timescales of when they are sending out letters to creditors etc and then phone back once that timescale has lapsed and make a pest of yourself. They are a nightmare to deal with. I finished my TD nearly 18 months ago and the trustee still hasn't been discharged.

Hello skintagain,

You can be discharged while PPI work carries on.

FinishedMarch15 has explained one way to give your trustee a bit of a "hurry on".

Knightsbridge took from March to December to give me my form 5 and again only after I threatened to go to ombudsman!
