It has now been published in Edinburgh Gazette. If I google my full name in quotes or without I get a hit from a website called vlex.co.uk
linking to the article in the gazette. Is this normal. I was told results don`t show up in google ๐
Hi kdog7 and welcome.
We've heard from some people that have found their names on search engines in relation to trust deeds. We've also heard from many others who have been more lucky.
I'm not sure why you were told this wouldn't happen as it clearly sometimes does.
The website you mention seems to be scraping content from all sorts of official information sources for their own commercial benefit. There would be little harm in contacting them and asking that the page be removed or made invisible to search engines.
Thanks. It wasn`t my IP that told me, it was a few others I know who have used TD's and they said they didn`t show.
I have emailed this firm and asked to remove the search or link. I will await the outcome ๐
Hi kdog7.
It's unfortunate that your name has been picked up by the search engines in this way.
When the subject has come up here before the great majority have said this didn't apply to them.
I hope that it gets sorted out for you.
I contacted the company I named above. They replied swiftly apologizing and have removed it from there database and they have also contacted google. reply below.
