My wife is getting very stressed her with work and making her want to leave, (she has been signed off twice before do to it).
I am a bit worried what will happen to our joint trust deeds if she decides to quit, as I don't think she can handle this stress any longer.
Thanks

Hi Luckysnoop.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think in these situations the priority has to be maintaining good health.

How far into the trust deeds are you?

Hi TDA we are about 18 months in, and managing fine as long as the repayments don't keep going up!

Hello Luckysnoop.

It may be worth chatting this through with your trustee to see what attitude they'll take.

If they believe that leaving work is a medical necessity for your wife the outcome may be different to the outcome if they judge your wife exercised a preference not to be at work any longer.
