I have been in communication with my TD company with regard to my TD - and have been told to cease payments (which i have) and that they are issuing a discharge in the next week or so - Can you advise what exactly happens now?

They'll send you a "Form 5" normally.

Another copy goes to the Accountant in Bankruptcy.

Once they've updated this on the Register of Insolvencies your discharge is official.
