I finished my payments with them in January last year and called them 1 week later to tell them as I had completed 36 payments I was cancelling the direct debit. They said okay and I also confirmed it in email and asked them to confirm by reply. I'd definately cancel the direct debit and tell them that you've done it. If you've completed all your payments then there's no reason you shouldn't cancel. Be prepared for a long wait for the trustee discharge. It took about a month to get my form 5 through but I'm still waiting for the trustee to discharge himself.

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

hi, i have been dealing with Invocas since 09/08 trust deed completed on 09/11 recieved discharge letter 01/13, no reason or apology given as to why it had overrun for so long. Be very aware of dealing with Invocas would not advise anyone to go with them

I got a form 5 from them last year which I would presume is the discharge paperwork they're referring to. I've also been emailing them to get the details through for my trustees discharge. It's being chased up and is in the final stages. Definately cancel your direct debit though. Will definately prevent any more money being taken.

I'm sure you'll get a Form 5 as gillian mentions Stuart.
