does anyone know how the inhibition is recalled by a trustee, is it done by lettering the registers of scotland or is it done by a similar way to the AIBโ€™s astra system ?

A form is sent to the Registers of Scotland by the trustee. There is no legal requirement to send it to the AIB.

The ASTRA system is information between the trustee and the AIB for registering trust deeds and by providing information that the trustee must provide to the aib during the duration of the deed.

It is not a full case correspondence file.

There is the expectation there will be a creditor interface in the very near future to allow them to access these forms that would normally be sent in the post.

Hope this helps
