Hi there,
I've been in a trust deed for 2 years now, and my gran died earlier on in the year and my parents have decided to put my grans house in my name along with another family member.
What does this mean for me?
Are they able to do this while I'm in a trust deed?

Hi Jackrussell180 and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry to hear about your gran passing.
Under a Trust Deed if you inherit or acquire an asset then the Trustee will have an interest in this.
Do you know if your gran had a Will? Were you due to receive anything under the Will?'
Is there a reason that your parents want to put your grans house in your name?
I would advise extreme caution and tell your parents not to put the house in your name. The worst case scenario is if they do your Trustee could look to sell this to ingather funds to repay more/all of your debts.
