If you owe your bank any money at all your trustee will be notifying them about your trust deed. You'll want to make sure you alreayd have new banking arrangements in place with a bank you do not owe money to.

If you do not owe your bank any money you'll want to be sure that the type of bank account you have is available to people that are in protected trust deeds (usually quite basic accounts). If it isn't the bank may close the account if you tell them or they discover this from one of the public sources of this informaion.

Basically, don't worry too much about notifying your bank. Your time is probably better spent making sure you have the right type of bank account with a bank that you do not owe money to.
