Hi all,
I know that my monthly trust deed payment is based upon what I can actually afford.
I take 2 buses to work and 2 back every day, I car would be ideal for me.
Car expenses were not originally included in my income and expenditure form.
Would my trustee consider lowering my monthly payments if I had more expenses due to getting a car?

Hi shark01.
If the acquisition of a car is for convenience rather than necessity I doubt your trustee would consider it to be fair that your creditors don't receive what was originally pledged to them.
There seems to be a likelihood that any reduction in payment for this reason would be accompanied by an extension of the term.
Only your trustee can tell you though.
