Hi jonc.

I'd imagine that your trustee will feel obligated to control the funds.

Once everything had been worked out and processed you should be able to expect discharge.

I assume they would know if I was getting inheritance or would I have to notify them?

Hi jonc.

It's your responsibility to inform them.

If you didn't (and I'm not suggesting that you'd consider not doing so) there are various ways that it could come to light.
