Hi
Am i able to get a help to buy mortgage after a trust deed? I completed my trust deed in March this year and would need a mortgage next year. However, I am also concerned because I previously owned a house which ended up repossessed because of my partner losing job and other circumstances. I am a teacher and earn a good wage and also receive other income from my partners wage. He would be unable to get a mortgage because of his credit rating.
I have had a credit card and mobile which i pay off every month so assuming it is helping to increase my credit score. I am wondering if i would come under first time buyer because the house i had is gone now? Also if i could possibly get a mortgage?thanks

Hi djcoupsey.

I'm afraid this is a question to ask a mortgage broker rather than a debt adviser or insolvency professional.

There are many factors involved, of which your trust deed is just one.

I'd suggest getting recommendations locally regarding a broker to use.

Be quick with your help to buy application next year. I read in the news the other day that this year's allocation of cash has run out already!

Glad that's over with....
