Welcome to the forum Srdipsy.
I'm really sorry to hear that you're in this position. Hopefully some people will have some practical ideas to share with you.
For this type of emergency you may wish to reach out to your trustee as well. They may allow you to suspend payments to the trust deed temporarily if it will help to resolve the problem.
Just another thought Srdipsy...
I've just remembered a similar thread from a while ago where it was suggested to speak to more than one source of advice about boiler repairs.
From memory someone was told that their boiler was obsolete by one of the big service providers, but a locally based independent gas engineer was able to get it up and running again just fine.
Who told you that the boiler was obsolete?

Hi Srdipsy,
Sorry to hear of the difficulties you are having with your boiler especially at this time of the year.
Like TDA has advised a good local heating engineer may be able to temporarily fix the boiler until you complete your Trust Deed and can use the money from that to purchase a new boiler. It may be worth phoning round a couple of them to see if they could fix the problem.
How much do you both pay per month to your Trust Deeds? You may be able to receive some support from your Trustee in terms of a payment break. Worth giving them a call to discuss this.

Gas engineer out boiler is completely knackered it is about 20 years old been in touch with my trustee who has said try green deal had already tried that as it is a credit agreement we were refused. At my wits end
I can't offer any advice just wanted to say I really hope you's can get this sorted. Hopefully one of the experts will point you in the right direction. Nobody in the uk should be forced to live without a working boiler in this day and age. Surely your trustee can sort something out for you? And if not they need reported!
Hi Srdipsy,
How much are your payments per month to the Trust Deed? Your Trustee may allow a payment break to enable you to accumulate enough money to purchase a new boiler but this is at their discretion and they could say no.
Do you own your own property? (I assume you do as if you are in rented accommodation it's the responsibility of the landlord to fix the boiler or replace it). If you do, you could speak with your mortgage provider about a payment break also. If you are able to get a payment break on your mortgage and also on your Trust Deed you may be able to raise sufficient funds to purchase a new boiler.

Pay ยฃ600 per month to trust dee
Hi Srdipsy,
If you were able to persuade your Trustee to provide you with a payment break for a couple of months and if you can also obtain a payment break from your mortgage then you may be able to raise enough funds to purchase a new boiler.
Speak with your Trustee and mortgage company to see what assistance they can provide.
Let us know how you get on.
