hi i have a trust deed and was downloading an application form for family fund who give grants for items to help your disabled child one of the questions on it is are you bankrupt i didn't know whether i needed to say yes when got a trust deed thankyou in advance

Hello pepper350.

A trust deed, like bankruptcy, is a form of insolvency.

However, a trust deed isn't itself a bankruptcy. The two things are different.

Therefore I believe that you can honestly answer the question with a "no". This would not be the case if you had been asked if you were "insolvent".
