We will reach the six year mark this December and hope that the TD will fall off our credit report as soon after that date as possible.
I called knightsbridge today and they said they had two lenders which have rejected and returned the settlement sent via the TD. has anyone else had this and how long did it take to resolve?
how soon before your 6 year mark did anyone receive form 6 [:)]
thanks again

Hi Suzie28.
The absence of the trust deed from your credit file six years after it began is pretty much a given. I doubt you'll have any issue at all with that.
I'd imagine most people's trust deeds have a Form 6 issued well before the six year mark. There will be occasions however when issues to be resolved with creditors arise (as they have here) and it all takes a while longer before the trustee can seek their own discharge.
From the trustee's point of view, they're under some obligation to get you discharged (Form 5) within a reasonable period of time after you've completed your trust deed commitments.
In respect of their own discharge (Form 6) they will not view this as an obligation to you. They'll see this as a process that follows the completion of their own responsibilities whenever that arises.
Any delay in Form 6 should have no negative consequences for you at all usually.
