HI I recieved my letter of discharge on the 17th july 2017, this morning I recieved a letter from a bank I used when I was married telling me I was owed ppi I didnt know anything about this as it was my ex husband who put the claim in,but it was a joint account, but was then told my cheque was been sent to my trust deed, surely ths cant be right as I have been discharged since away last year??

Welcome to the forum JONOX.

Your trustee's discharge occurs after yours. It's a separate event.

If they haven't been discharged then this money will be used to help repay your creditors.

You can check whether they have been discharged by visiting the (online) "register of insolvencies".

If they have been discharged then they may authorise the bank to pay the funds to you instead.
