im posting so hopefully nobody makes the same error i have regarding the time period it takes for trust deed to become protected. I signed with Marks company on the 17th August and counted five weeks from that date. Unfortunately that was wrong. I now know that the five weeks start from when notice is published in the Edinburgh Gazette. Well have got over my shock and disappointment and am now looking to next Friday and hopefully then will get a little peace of mind.

Hi aveda.

Thank you for sharing that information. It is a question that arises from time to time and a possible source of confusion.

I do hope that the next week passes quickly for you.
