Well after 10 years of paying unsecured debts I'm debt free woohoo. Can I just start with saying I asked a few questions on this site through my 3 year trust deed and found everyone most helpful great site great work,
So I made my last payment in September and got discharged by letter last week I just want to know if I need to do anything now? Like clear my name with creditors or anything, plus what's the best way to get my credit rating going again or will I need to wait another 3 year before I can do anything like that?

I got a credit card with Vanquis and started rebuilding my credit.

Congratulations dazza.

I'd suggest leaving everything for a few weeks so that your creditors can start updating your record with the credit reference agencies.

Get back in touch here in a few weeks and I will signpost you towards some articles that might help you to deal with any lingering credit rating issues that might still remain (where creditors may not have done what they should have).

Some responsible use of credit is likely to help, but don't touch payday loans as this may do the opposite.
