I was also with Knightsbridge. I made my final payment on 30th Dec and got my form 5 dated 28th Feb. I waited about 2 weeks and then used noddle to access my credit file.

I sat with pen and paper and took a note of all creditor names and the last 4 digits off acc number and default date if it was different from the start date of my trust deed.

I then scoured creditors websites for email addresses or sent via the complaints dept. I used a standard letter for all creditors to ask for account to be marked as closed and satisfied and for default date to be amended to start date of trust deed if necessary. Now 2 months on my credit file has cleared up nicely all my defaults bar one have been marked as satisfied and all accounts closed. Most creditors were fine, as I had used the complaint route, bank of Scotland and rbs both gave me £50 for my trouble!

I'm only waiting on capital one who are being very awkward regarding marking my account as satisfied.
