I was suppose to have an equity payment made to me in July, I informed my trust deed company and they contacted my pension provider to inform them that they were entitled to a share, since then the trust deed company have failed to contact my pension provider and I am still waiting for this payment four months later.

Is there a regulator for these management companies as I have complained to the glasgow office and their head office in London and nothing has been done.

My pension company last wrote to the trust deed holders on the 19/10/12 and as of today have not receive a reply they will write again today

Each individual Insolvency Practitioner is regulated by a body such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants for Scotland (ICAS) or the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA), among others.

The details of who your trustee is regulated by should be detailed on correspondence they have sent to you throughout the term of the Trust Deed.

Before going down the route of such a complaint it may be worth contacting the company again and asking for the specific reason for the delay.

Hi ronnie46uk.

Voice of Reason is correct.

If you are unhappy with the way a complaint has been dealt with you have the option to complain to the professional body of which your insolvency practitioner is a member.

It's really for you to determine at what point you consider this to be a necessary step to take.
