Trust deed now in 7th year having had 2 year extension due to home equity. More equity than when started but I thought it was based on beginning. This is never ending.

Hi Braveheart.
The rules about this changed in November 2013. It sounds like this unfortunately might be after your trust deed began?
What’s your trustee telling you is left to be done before you can be discharged?
Hi. My trust deed started in 2012.

I have been told 2 year extension due to current equity. All in all thd 3 years is now looking like 9 years with me paying practically all debt and mot what I was told. Another 4k to pay. I think.most has been taken in commission by Wilson Andrews.

That certainly is a long time to be subject to a trust deed process.
Normally a trust deed is extended by 12 -24 months and the trustee should be basing the equity position as it was at the start of the process.
Can you remember what was outlined to creditors at the start of the process?

I know that one of my colleagues has spoken to you about this today. I hope that we've been able to clarify the situation for you.

Still unsure about this trust deed. I paid an extension back in 2015. Was informed trust deed complete now you come back saying I have yet to pay a further extension of 2 years paying £182 per month. Something isnt right somewhere.

Equity being taken from now and not beginning or even after the 3 years!!
