Hi all
My TD is due to become protected this week and so far no objections however received snotty letter from Egg today to say they note I am proposing to enter into TD and they are liasing with my Trustee for payment of the full sum and they retain the right to contact me. Does anyone know if this means they are objecting they didnt actually say that? Am confused.

I really don't think this is anything to worry about though hopefully one of the experts can confirm this soon.
It sounds like a standard debt collection letter. The response to your Trust Deed (if they do respond) will be sent to your Trustee by Egg (or more likely their voting agent).
However if it's worrying you it might be worthwhile sharing the contents of the letter with your Trust Deed company. I suspect they'll reassure you on the matter.
