Hello bigyin,

I doesn't sound like it should have taken so long to get finalised, but warm congratulations on having completed your trust deed.

You can bank with whoever you want. You are not tied to Think Banking in any way and, as I believe there is a monthly charge for the account, I'd suggest that you get away from it as soon as possible. Your credit record as it currently stands may prevent you from obtaining accounts that include credit facilities.

Co-op Cashminder would be the account I'd suggest. No monthly fee. Internet banking and a debit card. We've rarely heard of anyone turned down (it's available to persons currently in bankruptcy). If you don't have a local branch you can nominate your local Post Office to pay in cheques etc. Internet or telephone application possible.

Other visitors may have other suggestions that have worked for them...
