I've just spoken with my Trustees, cheques were issued in January but one of them had to be reissued this week all others have been cashed. As soon as this one is cashed my Trustees will discharge themselves and I can try and move my mortgage from the variable rate I'm on to a lower fixed rate with some peace of mind and hopefully move on. I'm now nearly 5 years after signing a 3 year TD and I actually got an apology - the first in 5 years from my Trustees about how long this has all taken and how they understand how frustrated I must feel. I know it was all lip service but I did come off the phone in a better mood than I usually do when I speak them. Makes all the difference when someone at least pretends to be sorry!!! Have a nice weekend everyone ๐
Great news wikike,
There are genuine times when things simply take longer than anticipated to administer. Factors may be the fault of the Trustee or something else. At least the relationship has ended on a positive note and I wish you well in future endeavours.

Hope it's all behind you soon Wikikee.
Little things do matter. Even if you're not feeling the love from your trustees' apology, it's a lot better than feeling disregarded or patronised as some interactions leave people and seem to have before now for you?
Well surprise surprise the person I spoke with on the 8th was supposed to email me the following week to confirm that the last creditor had received their cheque and he hasn't. Why can't these people just do what they promise, if they didn't promise in the first place I wouldn't get so pissed off with them. Another phone call tomorrow then me thinks ๐
Wikikee have you checked on the AIB www to see if your Trustee is discharged themselves.
Sorry to hear that your getting the run around.

Wikikee,
Under promise and over deliver would be a good standard I think.
Nothing worse than being made out to be unreasonable when you expect folk to do what they led you to expect they'd do?
